Abstract submission
General information
All attendees of the symposium are invited to submit abstracts for poster or oral presentation.
We are inviting all attendees of the symposium working with any aspect of the field of ecology and evolution of plant reproduction to submit an abstract to be considered for presentation at the symposium on Ecology and Evolution of Plant Reproduction, taking place in Campo Grande, MS, Brazil, between April 24-25 of 2017.
The abstract submission deadline is March 15th 2017.
Accepted presentations / posters will made available on-line in the PlantEvol webpage. Please see here the poster guidelines.
Each registrant is only allowed to be the presenting author on one presentation (either poster or oral). Nevertheless, there is no limit to the number of co-authored abstracts and posters.
Abstract format
Authors may choose to submit their material in the form of an abstract for consideration for oral presentation or of a poster.
Title: Abstract titles should not contain abbreviations and be no more than 300 characters long, including spaces. This allowance is counted separately and does not count against the total number of characters granted for the abstract body.
Author’s information requirements are: Author(s) name(s) (First initial + surname) annotated with a footnote for reference of institution, Institutions (including city and country) and attending author(s). Please, see the example below:

Abstract text
The following guidelines should be followed:
- Preference for oral or poster presentation should be highlighted as “oral presentation” or “poster presentation” in the first line of the abstract file.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Abstract text should be one short paragraph, not exceeding 200 words.
- Figures attached to the abstract are not allowed.
- Name(s) of funding agencies/others presented separately after the abstract text

Abstract review
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program committee.
Notification and acceptance
Notifications of outcome will be sent in the first week of April 2017. Presenters will learn more about their presentation date and time and any specific session guidelines after acceptance.
The accepted abstracts will compose the Abstract Book of the symposium, which will be available for download in webpage.
